12All were amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, ‘What does this mean?’ 13But others sneered and said, ‘They are filled with new wine.’
Devotion by Lynne Buell
Why don’t we celebrate Pentecost in the same manner as Christmas and Easter? I think it is equally as important as the birth of Jesus and His resurrection. It is, after all, about the power of the Holy Spirit and Jesus fulfilling His promise to the disciples that He would never leave them.
Pentecost has a significant meaning for me as one who continually feels the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Gracious God, thank you for blessing us with the Spirit’s presence. Amen.
