John 6:58

58This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like that which your ancestors ate, and they died. But the one who eats this bread will live for ever.’  Devotion by Lynne Buell Jesus is the bread of life.  But is this enough for us to live a fulfilling life?  When it comes to sustenance, our bodies require water to survive, too. For me, it took some time before I felt the Holy Spirit.  When I acknowledged its presence, I then began a journey to realize how important it is to have Jesus in my life as well.  Jesus is my bread, and the Spirit is my water.  My amazing journey continues. Prayer:

I give thanks every morning to you, Loving God, for giving me another day of life.  I pray for the Spirit’s guidance to live the day with compassion and patience.  Amen.
