There is a very unique sense of community both within and with out at Pilgrimage. At its center, is an abiding sense of support that is genuine and always present. Caring is a word that is taken to heart. And kindness and consideration are not only extended to members but to those outside the congregation.
There is a true sense of connection. That connection is extended to a number of organizations, ministries and charities within the local community, as well the global community. Here are a few:
• Wellspring Living, an organization that serves survivors of the child sex trade in Atlanta. The girls range from 12 – 17 years of age.
• Must Ministries, is a faith-based organization that helps people in our community break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
• Atlanta Food Bank, distributes nearly 2 million pounds of food and other donated grocery items each month to over 700 nonprofit agencies in 38 counties.
• One Great Hour of Sharing, ministries that support disaster response, refugee assistance and resettlement, and community development, helping people find safe refuge.
• Mission Trips, both inside and outside of the US, our Youth have helped many people in need, from repairing and rebuilding homes to feeding the hungry.
