Visit Pilgrimage This Sunday
When selecting a church to attend, we all know a
lot comes into the consideration. There's the spiritual along
with the pastor, the congregation and the geographic location.
Selecting a new church home is a very personal choice.
But we hope you'll consider visiting with us one
Sunday soon. We think you will find a diverse, welcoming
community. We outline some of the traditions and basics of the
church in this Question-and-Answer
page.
Perhaps you've seen
media advertisements from the denomination's
God Is Still Speaking campaign.
You can also learn about the United
Church of Christ and its growth.
Pilgrimage
United Church of Christ serves people throughout North Georgia.
Most of our attendees come from the northern suburbs including
North Fulton (Roswell, Alpharetta), Southern Cherokee
(Woodstock, Holly Springs) and East Cobb (Marietta, Kennesaw).
But there's not that much traffic on Sunday mornings, so some
attendees come from farther away including Jasper, Cartersville,
Macon, Dahlonega, Mableton and Duluth.
The membership is diverse — straight, gay,
lesbian, singles, couples, families. We offer a very active
membership with strong youth programs, children's care and adult
Christian education, along with other small groups. In addition,
we are actively involved in a variety of missions, most notably
MUST
Ministries.
If you join us one Sunday at 8:30 or 10 a.m., plan on
staying a few moments after service to enjoy a refreshing cup of
coffee or juice along with a delicious snack.
There's no obligation, but we hope when you visit
with us one Sunday, you might want to return again soon.
And if you have any
questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. |
